About Us
Keeping it Local
Our family have lived in Tuddenham for 25+ years, so we feel almost local! We are passionate about food and the benefits of healthy eating. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as local farm reared high welfare meat is important to us as a family. We are also great believers in localism, in terms of supporting local business and we try to source as many of our products as we can from Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. We are lucky, as there are some great producers in our locality. Shopping seasonally and locally just makes a lot of sense, both economically and environmentally.
Our Mission
Our mission in taking on The Purple Pantry, formerly Wilde & Green was to keep the village farm shop open in Tuddenham. It had become an amazing resource for Tuddenham and surrounding villages and towns. Having lived in Tuddenham for 25 years +, we really wanted to see this lovely farm shop continue to grow and thrive.
Tasty Treats
Whilst healthy eating is certainly a mantra that we like to keep, everyone needs a tasty treat once in a while! Our little shop certainly has many a tasty treat to offer, from home baked cakes to delicious Italian sweet snacks and 'sweet shop' sweeties.
